By far the funkiest flower I've grown! Large thick stalks with unique "wings" branch out into a spray that looks like something that is under the sea rather than in a garden. Perched atop each branch are 1 to 3 papery white blooms (think mini strawflowers) that have yellow centers when open.
Called "Winged Everlasting" due to its winged stalk nature and the fact that it dries beautifully with flowers that last....well... forever(?) due to their papery nature.
The photo where I show them in a bucket is ONE bunch of 10 stems. These are definitely statement plants! However, they can be cut apart to tuck the pieces into arrangements. One bunch as a singular installation would definitely have people talking!
10 stem bunch 18" to 30" tall.
